From Koh Lanta there is an extensive range of activities and tours, ranging from traditional Thai massage and Thai cooking classes to snorkelling, diving and island hopping tours. We have described some of the most popular tours we can recommend you to check out during your stay.
Koh Rok is made up of two remote islands, in the National Park. Koh Rok Nok and Koh Rok Nai are situated out in the middle of the ocean and therefore offer the best snorkeling in the area. The water is clear, and there is a wide variety of colourful fish and corals. There is plenty of shade and perfect white sandy beaches. You might even spot the Monitor Lizards which are unique to Koh Rok.
The 4 Islands Snorkeling Tour will take you on a tour of Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan, Koh Muk and Koh Chuek. The tour also visits the famous Emerald Cave, a spectacular hidden bay inside the island. This tour is a nice mix of island hopping and snorkeling.
Scuba Diving : Koh Lanta is situated in the Andaman Sea which offers some of the best diving in Thailand. You can opt for Koh Ha, the five islands, for its spectacular scenery both above, and beneath the water, Koh Bida, if you like to search for sharks, or the stunning, dramatic reefs of Hin Daeng/Hin Muang, hoping for a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity to see the Giant Manta Ray!
If you would like to arrange either of these tours in advance please do not hesitate to contact us and we can organise it for you, hassle free, and give you your ticket on arrival at Fruit Tree Lodge.
